Existing Conditions Launches "Innovation Challenge 2024"
Boston, MA, February 26th, 2024, – Existing Conditions is proud to present its second “Innovation Challenge” offering up to $3,000 in prizes, including internship and career opportunities, and a "real-world" site visit to a high-profile site with the Existing Conditions team.
This competition is free to enter and is open to students studying architecture design, planning, and related disciplines. Register Here
This year, the Existing Conditions Innovation Challenge tasks students with crafting a comprehensive architectural illustration that encapsulates their in-depth analysis and understanding of a real-world project, based on the 3D point cloud and Revit model we supply. Participants must also provide a brief explanation, no longer than 150 words, that describes the rationale behind their analysis and the story their visual representation tells. Furthermore, students are to create a video narrative, lasting between three and five minutes, to accompany their architectural illustration.
Students in architecture, design, planning, and related fields should take advantage of this unique opportunity to highlight their analytical prowess and innovative thinking. We look forward to seeing the unique visions and interpretations of our real-world project brought to life.
"There definitely was a before and an after with the Existing Conditions Innovation Challenge. More than producing a new and exciting project for my portfolio, winning the challenge opened up a lot of doors for me and was an absolute impulse for my career as a future architect" - Nicolas Mateus, winner of the Existing Conditions Innovation Challenge 2023.
